Shared from Groupthink user Shockwaver, thought you all might be interested in what they did! I thought it was really neat, at least!
I pass by the same place every day on my walk in to work. Towards the end of spring I realized I could take a picture there every day and stitch together a timelapse of the snow melt and the spring bloom - so that's what I did. Nearly every day I passed by I put my phone in the same spot and took a picture.
The first picture is from March 27th to April 28th and shows the month long melt.
The second picture skips ahead (cold spring meant basically no growth) to May 20th and goes to June 2nd (this morning)- showing how much green explodes in just 2 weeks.
