Bringing kinja into focus, one frame at a time

Tried out night-time photoshooting (plus long exposure)

Wow, it has been a while. Anyways...earlier, I went down the garage to snap some 11pm shots of my family’s Accord. Here’re the results!

It was quite difficult due to the constant noise popping up, so I had to consult to the Camera RAW’s Noise Reduction. Still, it looks hideous in my eyes.

I also experimented on long exposure with light streaks. It was brought up in my school’s photography club, so I wondered what it was like with a car. Sadly, my tripod is kinda shaky, and as see around the Honda logo and streak, it wasn’t a straight path.

To end the hour-long shoot, I looked up and saw the starry night, a rarity for me in Manila. I simply pointed the lens up and took 30 seconds of shutter speed to make sure the stars are actually shown. The roof, palm trees and noise weren’t supposed to be in the shot, but it’s a nice touch!

Anyway—*yawn*—time to sleep.
