Tampa And A Weird Sunset

I made a stop in downtown Tampa last week. I had a quickie photo job to do and went over early to have a walk around downtown.

Along with the DSLR, I brought the Nikon 8008S and a very expired Kodak black and white disposable camera (which is for the Shitty Camera Challenge).

The DSLR was armed with my Nikon 50mm f/1.8 pancake. You can see it’s tiny nub of a lens sticking out on the left side. So tiny, yet so mighty.

The roll in the 8008S is finally done. The Kodak will be done within days and then off to get developed.

On Saturday I went to shoot the sunset. We had a huge swirl of that Saharan dust over us, so it was going to be a hazy affair. I was hoping for less clouds on the horizon, but whatever.

It was weird. The dust really came in right before sunset. It was just weird. But kinda cool.

Also, why was my 8008S upside down? We’ll find out as soon as I get the roll developed.
