I’ve taken a lot of photos in my lifetime and so far they all seem to fall into 2 categories: high speed/freeze the action shots and 30+ second long exposures. The 1 second - 1/15th range of shutter speeds might as well have been missing from my cameras.
I have a chance to snag this for half price.
Hey everybody! I’m excited to have found and been welcomed into this little corner of the Kinjaverse. Given the new year and the fact that I’m packing to move into my first house with actual space for a studio and darkroom I started thinking about photos that I want to try taking over the next year. The subjects are…
My personal favorite photographs I took over the last year. I recently learned there is a photography sub-blog on here but as I’m not yet added to it I suppose I’ll be spamming you all. I promise there are a few cars in here though...
Repost for the daytime crowd, with a couple additions.
There were some amazing shots this year.
Walking around taking pictures. All taken with a Nikon D3300 and 35mm lens.
Stefbait after the jump!
Wednesday I decide to make myself go out again. I didn’t even give myself time to think about it really. Just grabbed my stuff and left early in the morning. But this time I decided to try it with a specific lens I’d love to get better at using.
Currently I have the D5300. But I’ve been wanting something with a focus motor in the body, as I have some lenses that are only AF and not AF-S and I’m terrible at manual focusing.
Hello again. No, I haven’t been away because I got successful and forgot about you. In fact, neither of those things happened. My last post was in April, but I have been out a few times (more than I thought) since then. But I have been going months without taking the camera out. In fact, this last hiatus was only…
My friend has had this car since 2011. It’s a 1991 BMW 318is that he bought for $2500 from the original owner. It now has H&R Sport springs, Bilstein HDs, an actual cold air intake that I can’t remember the brand of, a high flow cat and magnaflow muffler, and a chip that raises the redline to 7300rpm as well as maybe…
It’s been a while since I’ve posted here, but trust me, I’ve been keeping busy. Moved into a rental house, pinching pennies, but snapping photos as much as possible. Without much comment because it’s past my bedtime but I wanted to post something, so here’s a few of the recent snaps from events I’ve been going to in…
So, on Saturday April 22nd, I attended the March for Science in Chicago. It’s a cause (among many others) that is very dear to me.
So, after having made a website and put a blog on it, I’ve decided that I’ll be posting on it instead of making my long posts here. If it’s okay, I’d like to continue to make small posts here linking to my blog when I post a new one.
Remembered yesterday that a long time ago I got rights to post here.
So, I’ve finally done it. I’ve given myself a birthday gift I’ve been wanting for quite some time now. Hope you all enjoy!
So, the final post of my Chicago walk last weekend is of the people I saw all around me. I found myself being a bit more bold this time, not asking and just snapping. People were either friendly or didn’t even notice. And those that were homeless or performing I made sure to give some money to before photographing.…
So, my 3rd of my 4 posts on my recent Chicago trip is just random stuff. I’m deciding to keep the longest for last. But here you go, random Chicago.
