A few weeks back, I shot the Supermoon and the International Space Station back-to-back at different locations in St. Petersburg. I then went out the next night to get the ISS again.
My plans for the moonrise didn’t go as, um, planned. Things didn’t quite line up like I hoped and the moon was hidden by haze until it was far above the horizon. So I was shooting on the fly, running around this park trying to make shots work, looking like an idiot. But I got some good ones, like this couple sneaking a non-social distancing kiss on a bench while the moon climbed into the sky.
And these are the two ISS passes.
