Bringing kinja into focus, one frame at a time
Bringing kinja into focus, one frame at a time

I decided to go to the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago on Saturday without my camera. I needed to take it all in. And after having done that, I realized how much I REALLY needed it. Mostly the Beluga whales and dolphins just put that tranquility back in me (and made me regret not becoming a marine biologist).

So, on Sunday, I decided to go back and this time I took my camera with me. (even decided to get a membership) I mostly just stayed around the Belugas again. I couldn’t help it. But I did get some other shots I really liked as well. The lighting in there is quite a rough place without being able to use a flash, and they do ask that you don’t use a flash. And I was NOT going to be one of those people that did, so I did the best I could with what I had.
