I haven’t had much time to get down to the airport lately, but I had to pick somebody up on Friday so I went down early to do some planespotting. The sky was quickly clouding up, which made lighting a challenge, and I usually try to go earlier in the morning when the sun is at my back and the air is cooler. With the warmth of the day, heat haze from the runway ruled out most shots of aircraft waiting to take off, so I focused instead on panning shots of planes landing and taking off. I also got to see some new aircraft to me, particularly the Saab turboprop and the HondaJet. Lots of Dassault Falcons on Friday, too.
As always, these photos will look better on my website rather than Kinja.
