Whelp, I’ve been gone for a while. Graduated, got married, moved halfway across the US. Turns out each of those events is really time consuming, and all three at once is kinda overwhelming.
All the non-flower photos are from Scotland, where we visited on our honeymoon. They’re all Sony a7 + Sony/Zeiss 16-35mm f/4 Vario-Sonnar. It’s an incredible lens, and I may try and buy a used one soon. I definitely wish I had brought a full complement of lenses with me, but travelling light and enjoying the moment was more important and capturing every scene I wanted. I also desperately missed my tripod, but again, photography wasn’t the main attraction, so I’ll just have to go back. Whisky, the West Highland Way, and beautiful scenery should have me back in a few years...
The flower photos are all from the Ice Age National Scenic Trail in Wisconsin. They’re a mix of Minolta Rokkor-HG 58mm f/1.2 and Contax Zeiss 135mm f/2.8 Sonnar, all on my Sony a7.
Head over to my Flickr (here) to see everything with EXIF and descriptions, cause I still can’t figure out Kinja.
