So this was a little bit of a “different” excursion. A friend and I headed out way too early in the morning one day to explore an abandoned factory in the middle of nowhere on the Ohio state line. Explore it we did, but it was basically just an empty shell and there wasn’t much to see. Looking for something else to do we checked out a rickety fence by an abandoned field nearby, and saw that it lead to this farm.
We lingered a while taking some photos in the beautiful morning light when one of the locals rode up on his ATV (why does everyone in the country drive ATV’s everywhere?). He chatted with us for a few minutes and told us this used to be a pheasant farm. As we walked back to the car we noticed rows upon rows of cages for the pheasants out back. Neat!
