It's quite late this time, but here you go.

I did kind of the same thing as McSeanerson, but with added rainbow.

Fuji X-A1 + XF35 f/1.4 @ f/2.2, ISO 200, 1/3 sec. This is my Waterman that has been following me daily for school for the past 4 years. I had the same one before, but I lost it. All in all I've used this model of Waterman for close than 10 years. Not bad for a pen that cost me less than €30. Macro mode was used on the camera, and it was mounted on a Gorillapod. Small adjustement have been done on the RAW in Lightroom (Exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, ... switched to Fujifilm PROVIA colour profile, white balance is camera's).

OK, so about these pics...no deep back story other than I thought "Shit shit shit shit shit, I want to shoot something for the contest!" so I grabbed a bunch of pens I had laying around in various places and put them on the dresser.

...and then in a cup...

Work pen doing work. I try to avoid black and white as I know it's easy to get stuck in it but I couldn't think of a really creative way to do this so you get de BOKEH and de B&W. You're lucky I didn't use any filters and/or a dutch angle.

What's better than a regular pencil? A giant novelty pencil! And yes, I have two, just in case one broke during the exam I was writing with it. Taken with my D70s with the 18-70 mm with an ISO of 200.

Was trying to think of something to do with a pencil when my cat came and started chewing on it.

Here's mine. It's probably the fanciest pen I own. It was a gift included in my graduation things from the University I attended. It's sitting on a moleskin notebook I picked up but haven't used yet.

1/15th, f6.3, 50mm, ISO 1600. Used a monopod on my T3i with EF 50mm f1.8.
