So long, flarewell, auf wiedersehen, good bye! The end of the Iridium Flares is upon us. This might be the last flare over the Florida peninsula.
This is Iridium 54 blasting a -8.0 magnitude flare over the John’s Pass draw bridge at Treasure Island Beach here in St. Petersburg. The Big Dipper is photobombing it. Good times.
I’ll be tied up at the Grand Prix of St Petersburg starting tomorrow. I have to have all my pictures edited and submitted to the publication I’m shooting it for on Monday. I’ll post some pictures after that. It’s going to be an amazing and long weekend.
See y’all on the flip side!
