Bringing kinja into focus, one frame at a time


I’ve been trying different techniques to increase resolution via image stacking. This one was from a seven image stitch on Hugin, then edited on GIMP. My camera also had a bit of its digital zoom processing (an extra 2x) there as well. It’s gotten to the point where it seems like the lack of sharpness is from the ancient lens. Moon was really orangey/yellow since it was very low on the horizon.

Camera was a Olympus OM-D E-M5 w/ Rikenon 200mm f/3.5
(so 35mm equiv is 200 x 2(digital zoom) x 2(crop factor) = approx 800mm)
