I’m pretty sure that I’ve posted about this before, but if you can afford it, definitely invest in having software to help you with your microfocus adjustment. Make sure you camera supports it though!
I’ve been having some focus issues lately, so I said ‘screw it’ and got the MFA software out again (I did MFA adjustment a while back, but it seems to have gone off kilter recently).
Also, shooting wide open at F1.4 tends to make even boring things a little more beautiful. Focus is spot on again though!
