Bringing kinja into focus, one frame at a time

I flew over to Greenville, SC this weekend to see my brother and drive our family’s 2004 F-150 home after he replaced it with a rare 2009 Tahoe 6.2, and on Saturday, we made a two-ish hour trip to Max Patch Mountain in North Carolina. The Tahoe was great on the highway, and handled the 6 or 7 mile gravel road up the mountain like a champ. As you can see, it’s essentially a giant meadow on top of a mountain, and it provides some pretty spectacular views. So. here’s some pictures.

The drive from Greenville:

I decided last minute not to bring my telephoto lens from home (ragrets), but the old 18-55 served me just fine. And I still haven’t bitten the bullet and gotten Lightroom so everything’s edited with VSCO.
