f/1.4, I Have It.

I don’t even know what to do with myself.

Look at that. You can see all of space and time in there!

But seriously. This thing is great. I didn’t have too much time to play with it today. It’s got a few quirks. At f/1.4 it gets a ton of lens flare if you are pointing at the right/wrong angle near a light source. Moving to f/2 almost completely eliminates that, but a hood should do the job. It’s also very tricky to focus at it’s closest and infinite focal points. It’ll take some getting used to. I have the same issue with my vintage 80-160mm (I’ve called it a 200mm before, I don’t know why I had forgotten what it was. I’m dumb).

I can’t wait to really use it. There is Cars And Coffee on Saturday, so I’ll have to put it to good use there.
