I'm going to be shooting a drill team competition for my old JROTC Batallion. Not going to be getting paid for it, but as an alum, I want to give them great photos. What gear should I bring? I don't want to bring too much, but I have the choices from below:

Bodies:

Canon 6D
Canon 1D Mark II N
Canon T2i
Canon AE-1 (film)
Canon EOS 650 (film)

Lenses I have in my possession right now:

Canon EF35mm f/2
Canon EF converted FD 28mm f/2.8
Canon EF 50mm f/1.8
Canon EF 85mm f/1.2L II USM
Canon EF 35-105 f/3.5-4.5 (I think)
Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L (Non-IS) USM
Canon FD 50mm f/1.8
Vivitar FD 70-210mm f/3.8 (I think that's the specs)

I'll be bringing a film camera, just because I like film shots, too!

I'm thinking they more than likely don't want a flash going off in their faces, especially of their own teams. They'll be performing in boxes just smaller than a basketball court. There might also be Armed Exhibition Drill, which is where they throw and spin the rifles. (Fun fact: My Bn Commander and I started the Exhibition teams back up our senior year, so I definitely want to get good shots of these events)

Right now, I'm thinking of putting the 85mm f/1.2L II on the 1DIIN, but that'd be a VERY heavy camera. I'd like the fast continuous burst mode of the 1D for the exhibition events. The teams don't move terribly fast, so the 85's slow focusing speed should be ok.

For various other shots, I'm thinking about bringing the 6D with the 50/1.8 or 35/2 and bringing the 70-200/2.8L just in case I need the range, though the 1D+85 would be about 100mm equiv, so I'm a bit confused.

Would I be better off with just bringing the 1D, 85/1.2L, 35/2, and 50/1.8, or should I tote along the 6D and 70-200/2.8L? If the 70-200 comes, I'll have to bring a monopod, as I won't be hand holding that lens for very long. These competitions tend to last a while so I'm looking for the right combination that won't be too heavy but will cover all the possible shots. HELP!
