Hi Folks -

OK, first off, this is a silly, stupid bitch, but I had to vent off...

So, being a crack addict, I bought another camera - a Bronica ETRS, which is a medium format SLR. The camera uses a hand crank to advance the film, normally. On mine (like on may others) the crank is missing (usually, it’s removed when a speed winder is installed, which is the case with mine). No big deal - it’s a stupid plastic crank...it can’t be that much to find a replacement, right? No:

$69....plus shipping...for a stupid plastic winder crank. I mean, I know that shit can be expensive, but this is ridiculous. The irony is that I can buy a complete body for less than I’d have to pay just for the crank.

I’ll stick with the speed winder...maybe I’ll see if I can find an old spinning reel and see if I can make that crank handle work for my needs...
