Follow my train of thought;
What matters isn't the tools used to capture a photo, but the end result itself. Give me a 1DX and a Canon 50mm f/1.0; I'll still suck. Conversely, give a professional a dinky iPhone and they will produce magic.
Skill I think is what I'm getting at. Creativity. What crummy social networking photo have you created that you thought "Oh damn, that actually looks great"
Alright, I went through my collection and I realized I like a lot of my shots involving the sky or abstract "This would be a nice painting" kind of things. Its weird, I never touch the DSLR for such shots but the phone captures everything like this.
