And now for something completely different: a dog! This is Rose, our English Coonhound, doing what she does best: sleeping in weird positions.
This is one of those unplanned spur-of-the-moment kind of shots. I was sitting in my living room doing God knows what and my camera was sitting on the coffee table where I’d haphazardly dumped it a few days before (I have a bad habit of doing this), so I grabbed it and shot a couple photos. I have plenty of photos of the dogs on my camera phone, but it’s just not the same. There’s something special about film. It just feels a lot more permanent, since it’s an actual physical image that you can hold in your hand. No hard drive crashes or dropped cell phones will destroy it. That said I still scan everything anyway.
