I have fairly shaky hands, so shooting anywhere that isn’t super sunny means longer times for the lens to be open, meaning that I end up with photos like this one. Add to the fact that I want to start shooting with my 70-300mm lens (which makes the camera fairly heavy), and I don’t see any options other than turning down the exposure time or getting a tripod.

Any other suggestions?

Also, photo was taken with my Nikon D70s with a 70-300mm lens. Exposure time was 1/10th of a second, ISO was probably fairly high to compensate for low light in the basement. The one below was shot with an exposure time of 1/20th of a second and an ISO of (I think) 1600. As you can see, it’s a fuckton more stable.
