The old Minolta SRT101 has proven its worth. Using the unknown battery i found in the other bum camera from ebay, it seems i have an accurate meter! The roll was shot on Kodak Ultramax 400. To lead off, here is a picture of the RX7 which is from the hay days of this camera (+ or - a few years). Many more inside.
Forgive me for these scans. I went back to walgreens and they told me i had to scan all the photos in myself on their scanner. So its not the best quality...
. classic Guillows!
No snow, the next day snow... I beleive i shot those with 2 different lenses as well. Sadly i dont know which.
Top landscape was with a 55mm i think, and the second was with the 200mm.
Bacon. All i know is that shot was wide open at 1.7 and i guess i just missed the focus.
Some cookies. Wide open aperture.
Im finding that film must crop out some stuff you see in the viewfinder. Cause i know for sure, i had all items in the frame, but they got chopped.
Pretty sure the above was with the 55mm. And below was with a 28mm, hence the yellowish tone. Its due to the lens.
I have no idea what happened here. The other shots i had with snow in them werent this underexposed. Maybe i totally missed the meter reading or something. Regardless, turned out interesting...
I feel terrible having to daily the prelude this winter, soooo much more salt than last year.
That about wraps roll #1 up. Hope to get up some of the black and white shots i have. And ill be 'printing' a few of them in the darkroom next week hopefully.
My next assignment for class is to take 36 self portraits... I havent even taken more than 5 self portraits ever in my life. So this will be a challenge...
