Some (hopefully not too many) photos from this year's edition of the Central Texas Air Show at Draughon-Miller Airport in Temple, TX. This is an excellent smaller air show, and even though the lingering effects of the sequestration meant no modern military jets, the Commemorative Air Force stepped up and did their trademark "Tora Tora Tora" show, Gene Soucy put his Grumman Ag Cat through its paces, and other events kept the show going and the heads turned skyward. From a photographic standpoint, this is always an excellent show for lighting, as the runway layout means that we get good sunlight on the planes as they follow the flight line. These photos were all taken by the author with a Canon 40D and Tamron 70-200 f/2.8 lens.

Thanks for looking. It's always tough to pare down to just a few representative photos, but I've done my best. Maybe too much Corsair, but hey, it's a Corsair.
